Call for Contributors

Do you like hockey? Do you like writing? Do you like academically rigorous liberal arts schools in the northeast corridor? Do you like writing about academically rigorous liberal arts schools in the northeast corridor that play hockey?

If you answered yes to any of these (especially the last one), then you should consider contributing for us. Here are some of the contributions we could use:

Game Previews
A background of the teams playing, their recent record, the last time the teams played, etc. Choose one or two keys to the game and a player to watch from each team; if you want, you can also choose a YouTube video that corresponds to the theme for the game. You can find samples under the Game Previews tab.

Game Recaps/Updates
Do you attend a specific team's games or can you watch webcast streams? If you have twitter, you can tweet updates @nescachockey to be re-tweeted. If that's all you want to do, that's great. If you would like to do a recap of the game, that's great as well.

Features
Perhaps you have an idea for an article comparing the various recruitment practices (prep vs juniors) in the NESCAC or analyzing statistical trends. Or maybe you'd like to do a background on specific traditions like the Citrus Bowl or Skate with a Panther. It doesn't have to be NESCAC specific, if it is something in the larger college hockey or general hockey world  that can be tied to the 'CAC, feel free to go for it.

Miscellaneous
Have an idea for a poll question? Good with web design? Want to help promote the site? Want to be our eyes and ears (so to speak) on the USCHO or D3 forums?

If any of this interests you, please write to hockeynescac@gmail.com with a little background of your experience with hockey, writing and the NESCAC as well as a short writing sample. Let us know how you would be interested in contributing. THANKS!
