The Lowdown: Re-match
The Panthers have gone 2-7-0 in their last nine, scoring more than two goals only twice in that stretch. In fairness, most of those losses came against stout competition and luckily for their NESCAC fate, four of those losses were out of conference affairs. They come into CT with the hopes that playing someone towards the bottom of the league will cure what ails them for an evening. Before being blanked by Bowdoin last weekend, the Panthers took care of last place Colby 5-3, but did so only after finding themselves in a 2-0 hole.

Conn. College looks to build on Tuesday's 3-2 win over SUNY Canton and get their first conference win since December 7th against Colby. Back in Vermont on November 30th, the Panthers and Camels skated to a 3-3 tie.  In this week's USCHO NESCAC  feature Camels coach Jim Ward called it some of the best hockey his team has played all year and hopes they can channel that this weekend.

Key(s) to the game: Panthers Power play unleashed
In the first seven games of the season, when Middlebury was 4-1-2, the Panthers had five games with multiple power play goals, including three against Connecticut College. In the last nine, they have had no multiple power play goal games. Still ranked 6th in the nation, the Panthers' power play must look to unload against a Camels penalty kill that ranks worst in the NESCAC and near the bottom of the country.

Players to watch
Matt Silcoff  (F, Fr.) The Freshman from Thornhill, Ontario leads the team in power play goals (4) and is second on the team in points (6-7-13), but hasn't scored since the last Panther road win at Wesleyan on January 4th.

Dawson Luke (D, Sr.) Tied for the team lead in points (6-6-12), the senior blue-liner had three assists on Tuesday against Canton and scored twice against the Panthers in their first matchup.

In honor of Middlebury's power play trying to get on track and Conn. College trying to stay alive in the NESCAC playoff picture we present Polish -what appears to be an amalgmation of dance rock and dubstep - Power Play's "Chce Się Żyć (I Want to Live)". So there's that...
