The Lowdown: Salvage the weekend Bowl...
Both teams come into the game having lost last night, Wesleyan 3-1 to Amherst and Hamilton to Trinity 1-0 in the Citrus Bowl. With a win Hamilton would move into a tie with Wesleyan for sixth in the NESCAC and would own the tiebreaker over the Cardinals. A win would put the Cardinals up by four and give them the tiebreaker as well.

The teams met back in Middletown on December 1st, tying 1-1. Both goals were scored in the third period with Nick Craven (F, Sr.) putting the Cardinals up ten minutes in, and Marko Brelih (D, Fr.) tying the game in the last minute.

Key(s) to the game: Get there early
With the NESCAC day game after a night game setup, and three hours between Amherst and Clinton, Hamilton needs to take the game to Wesleyan early. The Cardinals have scored fewer goals on Saturday all five weekends of conference play (though they would need to get blanked today to do that) and are owners of a 1-2-2 Saturday conference record.  Hamilton isn't any better with a 1-3-1 record in Saturday conference games.

Wesleyan hasn't lost a game when leading after 1, going 6-0-1 in such games, and Hamilton hasn't won a game when trailing after the first period, going 0-4-1.  So the lesson boys: score early.

Players to watch
Keith Buehler (F, Jr.) - The junior half of Wesleyan's two-headed scoring monster (13-13-26) doesn't have a point in the last two games, the longest such drought of the season. He is due.

Joe Quattrocchi (G, Jr.) With Hamilton's offense anemic as ever, it may be up to to Joey Quatts (what? We can't makeup nicknames?) to keep his team in the game yet again.

At last night's Citrus Bowl, rowdy fans chanted the melody from The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army".  It's a catchy song, so we present you with a live version of the Detriot duo's hit.
