The Lowdown: Nemo takes us Back to the Future...
The Nemo postponed home game for Wesleyan, originally scheduled for Saturday 2/10, has been moved to Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, 139 miles from Colby's home in Waterville, ME, and 163 miles from Middletown, CT, where Wesleyan is located.  With six players combined from both rosters having spent time on the Exeter hockey team specifically, and the majority of both rosters coming from prep school hockey in general, the rink should not be that unfamiliar to the two teams.

The game is much more important to the Mules than the Cardinals. Wesleyan is locked into the number six seed in the NESCAC playoffs, while Colby is still fighting for their playoff lives. A win for the Mules would put them within one point of the eighth and final playoff spot, currently occupied by Conn. College, whom the Mules play this weekend. A loss would make it very unlikely that Colby men's hockey plays past this final weekend of regular season NESCAC play.

When the two teams met in Maine back on January 12th, the Cardinals left Waterville with a 3-1 victory, just one day after handing Bowdoin its first loss of the season in an OT Thriller. Nick Lanza (F, Jr.) scored the only goal for the Mules, who took a 1-0 lead into the third period. Adam Kaiser (F, Sr.), Nick Craven (F, Sr.) and Jaren Taenaka (F, Fr.) all scored in the final frame to give the visiting Cardinals the 3-1 win.

Key(s) to the game: Capitalize
As in, the Mules must capitalize on the Cardinals having to travel to New Hampshire for a neutral site home game 163 miles from home on a Tuesday, in a game that has no bearing for their playoff seeding. Seldom used Cardinals players must be ready to capitalize on potential increased action.

Players to watch
Nick Kondiles (F, Sr.) It's been some time since the senior forward from Illinois donned the PEA jersey, how will he play being back in New Hampshire?

Alex Carlacci (F, Fr.) Just one year removed from playing at Exeter, how will Carlacci respond to being back on Big Red ice?

In honor of both teams hitting the road for this game, we present a live version of Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again"
