The Lowdown: Playoff battle
8th place Conn College and 9th place Colby meet in a Maine matchup that will help determine one of the two remaining playoff spots available in the NESCAC. Six teams' tickets have been punched, but Hamilton, Conn and Colby are separated by just two points headed into the final weekend, with two spots still available.

The two teams first met this season on December 7th in New London, with the Camels pummeling the Mules 7-2. Colby led 2-1 after one period, but Conn. College scored five goals in the second en route to the 7-2 victory.

Key(s) to the game: Win it Early
Neither team has a stellar record overall, but they are both especially prone to losing when trailing after the first period; Colby sports an 0-8-2 record in said scenarios, while Conn. College is 0-10-1.

Players to watch
Conn College goalies.  The Camels have split goaltending duties this year, with the larger share going to Mike Petchnoka (G, Jr.), but Tom Conlin (G ,Fr.) having more success recently. Petchonka's last win was against Colby on December 7th.

Nick Lanza (F, Jr.) The Mules leader in goals and points (12-13-25) has had a good week so far, having led the Mules to a win over Wesleyan on Tuesday with three points (2-1-3) and having been named as a Joe Concannon semifinalist

This game might mean the playoff lives for the Camels or Mules. In honor of this do or die scenario, we present British rockabilly band The Mules' "This is Your Life."
