FINAL OT Preview Box Score Trinity Recap
1st Period: Glenn Stowell in net for the Cardinals and Ben Coulthard in net for Trinity. No score. Trinity out-shooting Wesleyan. The video quality of Wesleyan's webcast much better than most of the NESCAC.
2nd period: Jay Matthews scores unassisted 3:21 into second to put Wesleyan up 1-0. Game hasn't been moved to Brooklyn, but some irony in a freshman scoring on senior night. Player to watch and senior Nick Craven scores a short handed breakway goal with 1:08 remaining in the second to make it 2-0. Shots in favor of Trinity 27-14.
3rd Period: Jordan So scores 5 minutes in to pull the Bantams within 1. Trinity pulls the goalie and ties the game on player to watch Jackson Brewer's goal with 4 seconds remaining to force overtime.
OT: Last time these two teams played in OT was in January 07 with the Cardinals winning 4-3. Last time they tied was Jan. 06 with a score of 2-2 in Middletown. Brewer scores second goal in two minutes at 1:36 into in OT to win the game.
With the win, Trinity moves ahead of Amherst and into fourth in the standings. If Bowdoin loses to Conn College tomorrow(unlikely), Trinity gets first with a win over Wesleyan tomorrow and a win over Bowdoin in the Nemo makeup game on Monday. Even if Bowdoin clinches, Trinity controls their own destiny with the second seed if they win out.

1st Period: Sam Parker in net for Colby; Tom Conlin in goal for Conn College. Camels take the lead with about five minutes remaining on what the Colby announcers call a "sloppy" goal. from Keith Veronesi on the rebound of a Mike Doyle shot
2nd Period: Colby scores a goal that "really riled up the football team" with 9:40 remaining in the period to tie it at 1. Conn College gets the rare snowing the goaltender penalty near the end of the period. Shots in favor of the Camels 27-18.
3rd Period: Lanza has several chances early in the period for Colby. With six minutes remaining in the game female half of Colby announcing duo says Sam Parker is keeping the Mules in the game. Conn has 34 shots to Colby's 25. Just a minute after Colby was robbed when Colin grew "3 inches of extra leg", Jonathon put the Mules up 2-1 with 1:02 remaining. Zeek misses an empty netter, but it doesn't matter as the Mules win.
Announcers say Colby clinches a playoff spot, but we'll have to check on that. They pull into a tie with Hamilton for seventh heading into the final day. Conn College falls to ninth. They need to get points against Bowdoin to have any shot at making the playoffs. Colby plays last place Tufts, who was eliminated from the playoffs tonight, with a chance to get the seventh seed tomorrow.

1st period: Mike Peters makes his second career start in net for Middlebury, Joe Quattrocchi in net for Hamilton. Silcoff and Wiggins score in the first two minutes and the Panthers go up 2-0. Connor Frick scores with 11:29 left and Sicloff gets his second goal with 10:37 left in the period on a power play to make it 4-0. Freshman Brian Ferrell gets 1 back for the Continentals with one minute to go. Shots in favor of Middlebury 13-8.
2nd period: Evan Neugold scores a power play goal five minutes into the period to put the Panthers up 5-1. Shots in favor of Panthers 18-14 for the game. Shots in favor of Hamilton 6-5 for the period.
3rd period: Middlebury scores with about 8 and a half left to go up 6-1.Shots in favor of Middlebury 31-21 for the game. Middlebury goes 2-4 on PP and Hamilton goes 0-5, per the usual.
With the win, Middlebury keeps pace with Williams to stay in second, one point ahead of Trinity, who has played one less game. Middlebury plays at Amherst tomorrow. Hamilton is tied with Colby for seventh, but plays a Williams team with a lot to play for tomorrow, while the Mules play a Tufts team that was eliminated from the playoffs. If Conn College can't beat Bowdoin, Hamilton will at least make the playoffs, regardless of what else happens.

1st period: Nathan Corey in net for Amherst, Sean Dougherty for Williams. Nick Anderson scores short handed goal (assisted by Rubino) for the Ephs to put them up 1-0 11:09 into first. Rubino with the shot that Corey saved and Anderson put in the rebound. Shots in favor of Amherst 12-7. Peter Mistretta out again for the Ephs.
2nd period: Cody Skinner scores 2:12 into the period and then Anderson gets his second goal of the game just 47 seconds later to make it 3-0. Safstrom scores 17:02 into second to make it 3-1. Aaron Deutsch then scores a power play goal with 36 seconds left to make it 3-2. Shots in favor of Amherst 29-10.
3rd period: Zander Masucci scores 8:28 in to put the Ephs up 4-2.
With the win, Williams keeps pace with Middlebury for second, and now owns the tiebreaker over Amherst. If the Lord Jeffs win tomorrow and Williams somehow loses to Hamilton, we'd have another threeway tie. Since Williams can't lose out to Amherst in any tiebreaker, the Ephs are assured of not falling below four and thus will host a Quarterfinal round playoff game next week. We'll be posting the tiebreaking procedures tomorrow. The bottom line is seeding is still very much up on the air from two through five.

1st period: Steve Messina in net for Bowdoin, Brian Phillips for Tufts. Koo and Toczylowski score early for Bowdoin. Shots in favor of Bowdoin: 19-9.
2nd period: Weiniger pumps in a rebound off a Downey shot to make it 3-0. Tim Coffey puts Bowdoin up 4-0 on a pp goal with 1:22 to go in 2nd assists McGinnis & Quinn. Shots 38-17.
3rd period: Downey scores power play goal on an assist from Mcginnis to make it 5-0 1:57 into 3rd. Connor Quinn scores a beautiful goal on an assist from McGinnis 9:37 into the period. After Phillips gets peppered with 50 shots, Derek Metcalfe takes over in net for the Jumbos. Dom Granato scores for Tufts to make it 6-1. In the end, Bowdoin has a remarkable 60 shots to the Jumbos 28.
With the loss, Tufts is eliminated from procuring a NESCAC playoff bid. They finish their season tomorrow at Colby. A win against Conn College tomorrow clinches first place for Bowdoin.
