Conn College (0-1-0) at Wesleyan (1-0-0) 3 PM
No live stats or video for this one. Conn College is coming off an opening night loss to Trinity while Wesleyan survived a shootout last night against Tufts on a game winning goal with four seconds left. Last season, the Cards swept the season series with the Camels. All 14 posters on USCHO's fan forum NESCAC Pick'em thread have the Cardinals pulling this one out.
Player to watch: Elliot Vorel (F, '17) What does he do for an encore to his five point (2-3-5) collegiate debut?
Tufts (0-1-0) at Trinity (1-0-0) 4 PM
Tufts lost a heartbreaker last night 5-4 at Wes., while Trinity came back against Conn College to score three in the third and win 5-2. Last season, the Jumbos and Bantams tied on opening night in Massachusetts, then Trinity took care of business at home in January. All 14 posters on the NESCAC Pick'em thread have the Bantams, as does USCHO's Tom Costello.
Player to watch: Tufts goalies. Last night, freshman Ryan Kellenberger( G, '17) got the start and made 28 saves on 33 shots in a losing effort. Does he get the start again, or does veteran Brian Phillips (G, '17) get the nod?
