Colby         6
FINAL Preview  Box Score

1st Period: Senior Day festivities in Waterville. Sam Parker in net for Colby. Derek Metcalfe gets the final start of the year in net for the Jumbos. His brother Nick Metcalfe gets into a fight with Jack Bartlett of Colby, causing a several minute delay to figure out the penalties. Nick gets kicked out of his final collegiate game. On the ensuing 4-4, Colby takes a 1-0 lead on a Cory Mcgrath goal. Tufts responds shortly after with an "ugly" goal  , according to Colby announcers, from Kyle Gallegos. Then the Mules answer right back on a Brandon Cosgrove rebound to make it 2-1 with 1:56 remaining.

2nd period: Tufts ties it up on a Blacke Edwards goal 2:51 in, but then Scott Harff scores at 4:56 in  to make it 3-2. Brian Phillips replaces Derek Metcalfe after the third goal. Robert McCormick gets a goal to make it 4-2 with 13:03 to go in the period. Matt Gelnaw scores to make 5-2 with about six minutes left in the period.

3rd period: Nils Martin scores for Colby with about six minutes to go. Sam Parker comes out of net so senior Matt Delaney can get some playing time on Senior Day.

With Colby win and Hamilton loss,  Colby clinches seventh in the NESCAC playoffs. With Trinity and Middlebury losses, Williams clinches the two seed and will play at home against Colby in the first round of the playoffs next week.

Williams      4
Hamilton     3
FINAL OT   Preview Box Score

1st Period: Pre-game Senior Day festivities in Clinton. Dougherty in net for Williams, Quattrocchi for Hamilton. Conts take the lead on goal from Marko Brelih, assisted by Vassos. A rare power play goal for Hamilton. Shots in favor of Williams 10-5.

2nd Period: Nick Vassos scores 46 secpmds into the second and the Conts take a 2-0 lead on the Ephs. Several minutes later with 14:10 left in the period, senior Anthony Ruberto rips a slapshot just inside the blueline that beats Dougherty and  Hamilton takes a 3-0 lead; forces Williams to take a timeout. Shots in favor of Williams for the game 18-13. Tied 8-8 for the period.

3rd Period:  David Jarrett scores near the right faceoff circle for the first Williams goal with 5:56 to go. Williams gets another goal from Greg Johnson with 3:25 left to make it 3-2. Paul Steinig scores a power play goal to tie it 3-3.

OT: Both teams have good scoring opportunities, but Williams scores with 11 seconds left in the extra frame to win and complete the comeback. A deflated Hamilton in the playoffs with the Conn College loss in OT. They play Bowdoin next week. With the Middlebury loss to Amherst and Trinity loss to Wesleyan, Williams clinches two seed and will play Colby next week in the opening round of the NESCAC playoffs.

Middlebury   3
Amherst         5
FINAL   Preview  Box Score

1st Period: Amherst provided coverage afterall. Corey in net for Amherst, Mike Peters for Middlebury. Brian Safstrom scores :50 seconds in. Lord Jeffs up 1-0. Shots in favor of Amherst 11-8. Amherst announcer says Amherst hitting "everything in sight" and really pressuring the Panthers.

2nd Period: Evan Neugold scores 9:26 to get the Panthers on the board. Amherst then turns the puck over in their own zone  and Chris Brown scores to put Middlebury up 2-1. Shots in favor of Amherst 23-16 for the game.

3rd Period: Mike Moher scores for Amherst to tie it 5:45 into the period, but less than a minute later the Panthers take the lead on a George Ordway goal. Kevin Ryder ties it up for Amherst a little over a minute later.Johnny Van Siclen scores with 3:22 to go up 4-3 and then puts in an empty netter to make it 5-3.

Amherst sweeps the season series and owns the tiebreaker over Middlebury. Amherst and Middlebury's seeding all depends on Trinity. If Trinity (who lost to Wesleyan) loses the makeup with Bowdoin, Middlebury sneaks into the four spot and plays hosts to Trinity, and Amherst gets the three seed and hosts Wesleyan. If Trinity beats Bowdoin, Trinity gets the three seed and Amherst plays hosts to Middlebury. If Trinity ties Bowdoin, we have a threeway tie for third and we'll all have some fun with tiebreakers.

Conn College    1
Bowdoin            2
FINAL OT Preview    Box Score

1st Period: Senior night underway in Brunswick. Conlin in net for Conn. College. Fenkell in the pipes for Bowdoin. McGarry out of the box loose puck to Livermore who sets up Lockwood for a Polar Bear goal 17:04 into the period. Shots in favor of Bowdoin 16-4.

2nd Period: Shots in favor of Bowdoin 23-14.

3rd Period: Conn College gets a power play goal from Steve Servideo (assisted by Adam Patel) 13:34 into the period to tie it at 1.

OT: Needing a win to make the playoffs, Conn College pulls their goalie in OT and Bowdoin puts the empty net game winner in the final seconds to win. Conn College eliminated from playoffs. Bowdoin clinches number one seed and will play Hamilton in Brunswick next week in the opening round of the playoffs. Bowdoin still has a makeup with Trinity Monday night, but it has no bearing on their postseason.

Wesleyan      2
Trinity           1
FINAL Preview     Live Stats

1st Period: Play underway. Nolan Daley in net for Wesleyan. Nathaniel Heilbron in the pipes for Trinity.

2nd Period: Live stats don't seem to be working. Live feed is though.

3rd Period: Keith Buehler scores early in the third to tie it with a "hotdog of a celebration" afterwards. Wesleyan scores with about 2:30 minutes left to take the lead. Trinity announcer may get a call from the FCC for his saucy language in the final minute.

Trinity blows their chance to get the two seed. With a win against a Bowdoin team that has nothing to play for on Monday, Trinity moves into the third seed and would play the Cardinals for the third time in two weeks. A loss would make them the five seed and they would have to travel to Middlebury. A tie would throw them into a threeway tie with Middlebury and and Amherst and we'd have to check the tiebreaking procedures to see what happens.
