USCHO and D3Hockey.com polls November 18, 2013

After one weekend of NESCAC play, there's been some movement in the national polls, and only one NESCAC school, Williams, remains in both rankings. The biggest movement occurs for Bowdoin, who falls out of the USCHO rankings but stays ranked at D3Hockey.com after a (0-1-1) opening to conference play.

USCHO
Bowdoin, previously ranked seventh, falls from the poll tying Middlebury and losing to Williams on the road. The Polar Bears last missed USCHO's D-III poll in January 23, 2012, making the last 29 polls before today's rankings.

The aforementioned Ephs move up to 12th (from 14th) after tying Colby and beating Bowdoin at home. Amherst's sweep of travel partner Hamilton propelled them up two spots to 13th. Bowdoin, Middlebury and Trinity received the highest number of votes of those schools not in the poll

Outside of the NESCAC, the only team to change significantly was Hobart, who fell from eighth to 14th after losing to Geneseo (now 15th) and tying Brockport over the weekend.

Williams makes the biggest move of any team with a four point bump to tenth after their 5-2 victory over Bowdoin. Middlebury moves up two spots to 11th after their tie with Bowdoin and crushing of Colby. Amherst is the second highest unranked team having received 26 points while Trinity received one.

Outside of the 'Cac, St. Norbert became the new number one and defending national champs Wisconsin-Eau Claire moved up a spot to two, leaving previously number one Plattsburgh in third after they tied Buffalo State over the weekend.
