Middlebury (5-6-2): 1

It was over when...: When Gerard McEleney (F, So.) scored to put the Cadets up 3-1 with 2:16 left in the third. Not quite the last second thriller that the first installment of "The Game" was earlier this season, but still a good game. The Panthers had the second closest shot differential (-3) in a D-III game against Norwich, only behind Plattsburgh, who outshot the Cadets by 1 on December 7th. The only other time Norwich was outshot this season? In a close 4-3 loss to division 1 foe Dartmouth .
Freshman netminder Liam Moorfield-Yee (G, Fr.) was solid in defeat for the Panthers with 24 saves. Zach Haggerty (D, Fr.) scored his first collegiate goal for the only tally for Middlebury. The Panthers are reeling having dropped five of their last six.
Player of the Game: Gerard McEleney (F, So.) for giving the Cadets an insurance goal late in a tight game.

Player of the Game: Timothy McGarry (D, Sr.) scored the first goal of the game for the Polar Bears to tie it in the second and assisted on the game winning goal in the third.
