Broadway brought us Avenue Q, a hilarious satire of The Muppets that laments the hardships of becoming an adult. The New York Metro Transit Authority (MTA) brought us the Q Subway Line, a useful track of public transit that runs from Coney Island in Brooklyn through Manhattan then out to the Astoria section of Queens.
Winter Storm Q is a different story. Neither as entertaining nor useful as its q brethren, storm Q is set to dump a bunch of ice and snow on the Midwest. "Why would a NESCAC fan care about a storm in the Midwest?" you retort. Well, a new low-pressure system associated with Winter Storm Q might bring significant snowfall to New England this weekend.
In preparation for this, Williams has moved the start time of its NESCAC Quarterfinal men's hockey game against Colby, originally scheduled for 3PM, up to 1 PM. Thanks to Colby assistant coach Chris Hall (@chall4431 on twitter) for the update.
FRIDAY UPDATE: According to the official twitter of Trinity Hockey (@TCBantamsHockey) the start time for the game between #6 Wesleyan at #3 Trinity, originally scheduled for 4 PM, has been moved up 1PM, due to weather concerns. All NESCAC quarterfinal are games now scheduled for 1PM.
So the up to date schedule is as follows:
#8. Hamilton at #1. Bowdoin 1 PM
#7. Colby at #2. Williams 1 PM
#6. Wesleyan at #3. Trinity 1 PM
#5. Middlebury at #4. Amherst 1PM
We will let you know if Q's low pressure friend causes any other changes to the schedule.
