Final Box Score 

1st period: Dougherty in net for Ephs, Messina for Bowdoin. Ephs leading scorer from last season, Peter Mistretta (F, '15), not in the lineup this afternoon. James McNamara (D, '17) scores his first career goal before teammate and brother Brian McNamara(D, '15) gets a collegiate tally, as James beats Messina pad-side to put Williams up 1-0 (assists to Kitto and Anderson).  Later in the period Craig Kitto (F, '15) goes gloveside to put Williams up 2-0. Bowdoin's Harry Matheson (F, '14) scores a shorthanded tally to cut the lead in half.

2nd Period: 9:13 in Alex Dabaere (F, '15) gets a breakaway and makes it 3-1. Freshman defenseman Joseph Lace (D, '17) has his slapshot deflect off B. McNamara's skate to cut the lead to 3-2.

3rd Period: Freshman Tyler Young (F, '17) finds defenseman Greg Johnson (D, '16) in the slot, Johnson buries it for Ephs. On a 2 on 1, Kitto finds freshman George Hukele (F, '17) for his first collegiate goal and a 5-2 Williams lead.

Final  Box Score 

1st Period: It was the juniors that had the impact in the first. Mike Peters(G, '15) starts in net again for the Panthers and Sam Parker(G, '15) for Colby. Derek Pimentel (F, '15) gets a pair of goals in the first ten minutes, his second and third of the year, to put the Panthers up 2-0 early. At 14:01, Ray Zeek(F, '17) scored of a faceoff on the Mules first shot of the game to cut it to 2-1.

2nd Period: The Panthers speed owned the second frame. First Evan Neugold (F, '16) gets a goal on a 5-3 and then at 10:18 Jake Charles (F, '16) gets his first goal of the season and his collegiate career.Senior Louis Belisle (F, '14) gets in on the action on the power play with less than a minute to play, and the Panthers take a 5-1 lead into the final frame. Shots unofficially in favor of the Panthers 26-7.

3rd Period: Ben Csiernik (G, '17) replaces Parker in net for his first collegiate action. Flurry of penalties early in the period for both teams, which eventually leads to the sixth Panthers goal. Cameron Romoff (D, '17) took a shot from the point which was tipped by Charles for his second goal of the game. At 9:48, Mike Longo gets his first goal of the game to add to the rout. Unofficial shot count at the end of the game: Middlebury 40, Colby 11.
