The Lowdown: A tale of two teams
The two teams enter this game going in very different directions. The Ephs come off a (1-0-1) opening weekend in which they thoroughly handled defending NESCAC champion Bowdoin. The Camels lost both opening weekend games and currently own the longest playoff drought in the NESCAC at four years. Conn College hopes their return to Dayton Arena, where they went 2-7 in conference last year, will help them right the ship. It won't be easy, as Williams leads the all-time series 19-5-4 with the Ephs currently on an eight game unbeaten streak (7-0-1) dating back to 2007.

Players to watch
Craig Kitto (F, '15) After missing much of last season to injury (including both games against Conn College), Kitto looked good last weekend and currently leads the Ephs in points (1-3-4). In his two games against Conn his freshman year he had two points (0-2-2).

Conn College Goalie Across the ice, the Ephs have a full time starting goaltender in Sean Dougherty (G, '15). Things aren't as simple in New London, where time is split between Mike Petchonka (G, '14) and Tom Conlin (G,'16).  Conlin seemed to have the starting job locked up down the stretch last year, but Petchnoka started off the season in goal last week, with Conlin starting on Saturday. Who gets the nod in the home opener? The Camels will need solid goaltending if they want to pull of the upset.

It's an all Pixies preview night. In honor of the Camels attempt to right their ship at home at Dayton Arena, here's the Pixies' (bassist Kim Deal is a Dayton, OH native) "Where is My Mind." Since this is hockey, let's go with the Fight Club soundtrack version.
