Rapid Reaction 2/23/14 and Playoff matchups

Amherst scored two goals in the final four minutes to break open a 2-1 game. The win gives the Jeffs the two seed in the NESCAC Quarterfinals, while Williams finishes with the three seed after a 1-4-1 record down the stretch.

Middlebury 11-10-3 (9-7-2 NESCAC)    5

Middlebury scored four third period goals to erase a 2-1 Hamilton lead after two periods. The Conts propensity to take penalties did them in with several Middlebury power plays in the third, including an extended 5 on 3. The win secures Middlebury the four seed, while Hamilton's season comes to a close.

Playoff Pairings
It took until the final buzzer between Middlebury/Hamilton to solidify the final NESCAC pairings, but now that the regular season is over, we know the locations and seeding of all four of next Saturday's NESCAC Quarterfinal games.
