The Lowdown Getting Back on Track
The Colby Mules
host the Southern Maine Huskies Tuesday night at Alfond Rink hoping to
duplicate the same excitement they generated when they met earlier in the
season. Lorne
Miller’s power-play goal with 14.7 seconds remaining in overtime lifted
Southern Maine 5-7 (3-4 ECACE) to a hard fought 3-2 victory over Colby 3-9-0
(1-7 NESCAC) November 20 in Gorham, Maine.
Both teams
enter the contest seeking to get their season back on track. Southern Maine has
dropped its last two games and 5-of-6 while Colby has also lost its last two
and 4-of-6 under first year head coach Blaise MacDonald. The
hometown Mules are paced by junior forward Nick Lanza and senior forward Cory
McGrath. L
