The Lowdown: One game at a time...
Having survived a scare at home against University of New England, Bowdoin continues it's pursuit of perfection, one game at a time. Wesleyan, despite some solid statistical numbers and a strong non-conference record, finds itself near the bottom of the league. After two tough one goal home losses against Middlebury and Williams last weekend, the Cardinals seek to get back into the NESCAC hunt, one game at a time. However, starting your conference recovery against an undfeated team is less than ideal  (meiosis ?).

Key(s) to the game: Stay composed and focused
Every athlete and coach from the NESCAC to the NHL will tell you that they don't worry about undefeated seasons or records. But with increased coverage and chatter about Bowdoin's solitary status, it is hard to imagine there isn't at least a sliver of pressure, if only sub-conscious. For Wesleyan, they will need to be very focused if they want any chance at the upset.

Players to watch
Wesleyan Keith Buehler (F, Jr. ) The junior forward from Skaneateles (it's a real place...I verified), NY netted his first career hat trick in a loss to Middlebury last weekend to tie for the team league in points (9-8-17). They'll need that kind of fire power to pull off the upset.

Bowdoin Timothy McGarry (D, Sr.) The offensive senior defenseman (3-7-10) gets the nod for his two point game against UNE and the bet, revelealed in the Portland Herald Press piece, he won with coach Terry Meagher; also, for sharing a namesake with one of the best West Wing characters
