D3Hockey.com NESCAC Preview

We're still waiting on Trinity's roster, but for now let's look at D3Hockey.com's newly released NESCAC Preview. They gave  Bowdoin the slight edge over Middlebury  to win it all, picked Bowdoin/Colby as the best rivalry, Wesleyan's Keith Buehler (F, '14) to repeat as NESCAC Player of the Year and Tufts sophomore Stewart Bell (F, '16) to be the breakout player of the year.

Below you can find  D3H's prediction for the order of finish for the NESCAC. One initial observation would be that the Ephs deserve better than to be tying Amherst, who enters the season with more questions than Williams does. The wildcard in the 2013-14 class is Trinity, who lost its top line from last year, but return 1st Team All-NESCAC goalie Ben Coulthard (G, '14) and a strong recruiting class.

In general, the results are in-line with the preseason poll we opened up to y'all, with one notable two-spot flip which we will reveal with the full results tomorrow. The good news is that tomorrow the NESCAC season starts and we can deal with actual hockey instead of predictions. If you click the team name, it goes to D3H's preview for that specific team.
