Wesleyan 5
Hamilton 8
FINAL Box Score
1st Period: Quattrocchi in net for Hamilton and Daley for Wesleyan. Only one Katie on the webcast for Hamilton tonight.
Hamilton's Pat Curtis scores early power play goal to go up 1-0. Wesleyan freshman Elliot Vorel, he of seven point fame from a week ago, scores his fifth goal of the season to tie the game. Hamilton then has another rare well executed power play. Working the umbrella, Brelih takes a shot from the point and it beats Nolan to put the Conts up 2-1 with 3:12 left in period. Back and forth continues, with a goal each for Welseyan (:38 seconds left) and Hamilton (:10 seconds left) to make the score 3-2. Shots in favor of Hamilton 13-7.
2nd Period: Wesleyan keeps putting Hamilton on the power play. After a 5-3 for four seconds, Brelih rips one in on the 5-4 to make it 4-2. The moments right after a goal are some of the most vulnerable in hockeyand Hamilton lets the Cards make it 4-3 on a James Kline goal just twenty three seconds after it went 4-2. The penalties flow back and forth between both teams. Eventually Hamilton gets a 5-3 and Murden feeds DiMare across the crease for a 5-3 Hamilton lead. Shots in favor of Hamilton 16-7 for the period.
3rd Period: Matheson fires a shot from the top of the point early in the third and the normally anemic Hamilton power play scores yet again. Conts put in another goal less than two minutes later. On the power play, Vorel finds Albrecht to cut the deficit to 7-4. Wesleyan cuts it to 7-5 with 6:31 remaining.Evan Haney intercepts a pass on the Wesleyan power play and scores a short handed goal to put Hamilton up 8-5 with just over two minutes remaining.Final unofficial shot tally 41-25 in favor of the Conts.

Amherst 3
FINAL Box Score
1st Period: Coulthard in net for Trinity, Cunningham for Amherst. Freshman Sean Orlando scores an unassisted goal 2:09 in to put Trinity up.
2nd Period: Penalty laden period. The only scoring comes a rare 5-3 shorthanded goal by Amherst's Andrew Kurlandski.
3rd Period: Amherst starts out the third period on the power play. Topher Flannagan thinks he has the goal, but no call. With the puck lose and the ensuing confusion, Brian Safstrom stuffs it home for the 2-1 Lord Jeffs lead. Trinity goes on the power play late in the game and pulls Coulthard with about 1:40 left for the 6-4. Safstrom puts in the empty net with 33 seconds remaining to clinch it. Lord Jeffs have had empty net goals in all three games this season. Deutsch gets called for a penalty moments later but it's too late, 3-1 final. Amherst announcer Hugh Campbell seems incredulous when he finally hears a Wesleyan/Hamilton update for the first time of the night at the end of the broadcast.
