Scoreboard 11/24/13

FINAL

1st Period: Coulthard in net for Trinity, Quattrocchi for Hamilton. Pretty evenly played first period with no scoring.

2nd Period: Trinity jumps out to a lead in the second on a goal from freshman Sean Orlando, only for Hamilton's rookie Robbie Murden to respond and tie it. Later on, during a 4-4, Quattrocchi headed for the bench on a delayed penatly call. Hamilton ensued to kill off fourty seconds. When they finally did get on the power play, Kenny Matheson found Mike DiMare across the crease for a one-timer to give the Conts the lead late in the second period. Shots in favor of Hamiton 22-19 at the end of two.


3rd Period: All Trinity in the scoring, though Hamilton had their opportunities on several power plays. Trinity ties it when Tim Shea, from below the crease, finds Ben Hjalmarsson to the left of the net for the stuff in. Later on a Hamilton power play breakdown, Orlando streaks out for a short-handed, breakway goal with about 12 minutes remaining. Hamilton tried to pull Quattrocchi with about a minute remaining, but he was forced to retreat as Trinity entered the zone. Cole put it in to seal the game. Unofficial shots 31-27 in favor of Hamilton.
