Unofficial NESCAC preseason fan/coaches/player/whoever poll

Back in 2000, the NESCAC had an official coaches poll through USCHO. Coaches were not allowed to
vote for their own team and the scoring system gave eight points to the first place team, seven to second, etc. In 2013, the NESCAC no longer has a coaches poll because they believe it does not mesh with the academics first ethos of the conference.

But that doesn't mean we can't have an unscientific, unofficial, open to everyone poll, right? It's pretty simple. When you click the link, you will be asked to place where you think each of the ten NESCAC men's hockey teams will finish in the final regular season standings. Ranking a team first means you think they will have the most points in conference play, second means they will have the second most points, etc.

We're still waiting on about half the rosters to be finalized, but we have a general idea of what the makeup of most teams are at this point. You can certainly vote for your team, but where are you going to put the other nine? While this is for fun, we urge you to try and be as objective as you can. For example, while you may be an ardent Amherst fan and have a special antipathy towards Williams, we would kindly suggest that you not predict that the Ephs will finish last, as most evidence points to that not being likely.
