Colby downs Trinity 4-1 for first ever NESCAC MIH title.

Colby responded to Trinity's first goal in the 2nd period with a tally of their own just 14 seconds later to go up 3-1. Mules goalie Sean Lawrence did the rest and finished the game with a phenomenal 38 saves to finish the NESCAC playoffs with 113 saves on 116 shots. An empty netter sealed the 4-1 victory for the Mules, who outscored opponents 14-3 for the tournament.

More on this game later, but for now some celebration tweets for Colby. The Mules will find out where they are headed for the NCAA Tournament today at 10:30 AM on the NCAA selection show. Trinity still has a shot as a Pool C bid and D3Hockey.com actually projected the Bantams to get the last Pool C bid in their final edition of bracketology Sunday night.
