The Lowdown: Re-match
The team's met opening weekend, skating to a 4-4 tie. The two teams have had different paths this season, Trinity being a surprise in the NESCAC and even spending a week nationally ranked, and Tufts hanging around the bottom of the league. Tufts does enter the game off a nice shutout victory over Wentworth and Trinity only escaped Maine with one point last weekend.
Key(s) to the game: Prediction: Pain
Trinity (17.4 PIM/G) and Tufts (16.4 PIM/G) face off as the two most penalized teams in the NESCAC. Despite Trinity being third in the 'CAC in penalty kill (83.9%), the sheer volume of penalties has led to the second most power play goals yielded (52) in the league. Both teams would like to play a dirty, gritty style, but need to be careful about the special team implications.
Players to watch:
Tufts - Stewart Bell (F,Fr.) had the only multi-point weekend of any Jumbo (1-1-2) last weekend.
Trinity - Chris Menard (F, Sr.) scored in both games last weekend, including one on as an assist from his twin brother Jeff.
And then there's this...
